Historical Background
Shortly after Chabad of the Space and Treasure Coasts arrived in Brevard County, in April of 1991,  the first Passover program is initiated with tremendous success. Over 100 people came to be a part of Chabad's first Model Matzah Bakery. They experienced hands-on how matza is made from crude to finish.  As they kneaded, rolled and punched holes in the dough, participants reenacted the Exodus from Egypt.

Picture 1: JENNIFER GREER/PERLMUTTER (now Sheldon)!!!!!!!

Picture 2: Participants waiting with their rolled pre-matza dough on a stick to put into the oven.

Picture 3:  Singing songs as they await their crispy-crunchy-burnt-a-bit matzah as it bakes in the oven.

Picture 4: Rabbi Konikov and son Mendel overlooking as Barbara Perlmutter, Miriam Perlmutter, Jennifer and Josh Greer punch holes into their matzah to prevent it from rising.
