| From Kinnereth.Β This was on the western side of the Jordan, and the inheritance of the children of Gad was on the eastern side of the Jordan; so the width of the Jordan adjoining their territory fell within their lot, and in addition, the land on its opposite bank until the Kinnereth. Even though the righteous may base a request on the merit of their good deeds, they request only a free gift of the Omnipresent.
