Compelling Fascinating lesson. I am learning how to deal with G-d in my own life when I cannot fathom His actions by learning how you Jews deal with the Holocaust, the loss of your Temples and your other tragedies...especially observant Jews like the Rebbes through the ages deal with them. Reply

Coping with the Holocaust This was terrific! I first started asking why when I saw the movie Anne Frank in the late 50s. I was just a little girl but it hit me so hard. Last month I read Leo Fettman's Shoah: Journey from the Ashes and was really feeling guilty questioning the Almighty. To hear that it is expected and right to question is such a relief to me. I just really love this site and though I am not Jewish, at 56 I am learning so very much here that Christian churches never taught.
